Red is the color of your blood which is your life or densified liquid sunlight. It is also the the sign of Aries, the sign of life and impulse, and energy, and its ruler Mars. Red is also passion, anger, and war. Red is mostly positive however and invigorating and regenerative. It marks both sunrise and sunset (the best times for sungazing) or beginnings and endings. Wearing red or exposing your self to red light for minutes a day can have an enlivening or invogorating effect on both your mental and physical well-being. It stimulates cell growth and blood flow and can remedy or help many health issues such as poor skin, weak eyesight, balding, and impotence. It can even help you sleep at night. There are many red light therapy devices on the market, some of them very expensive, from face masks to lamps to blankets and body straps, but you can start with a simple red light bulb in your room or office. Incandescent is best. Sungazing at sunrise or sunset when the sun and/or sky has a reddish hue is also good but start with your eyelids closed for safety and build up from there.
