When I first began to study astrology seriously (in 1977), I was struck by the great divide between popular Sun Sign astrology and chart astrology. Sun Signs is just a gateway or entry point(the tip of the iceberg) into real astrology which includes the Rising Sign, the Midheaven, the ten planets, the houses, and the aspects(or how they all relate together). At first I was overwhelmed, but over time, thanks to my esoteric background, I concluded that we were basically talking about twelve main components to our being. We are basically twelvefold selves and astrology both confirms and elucidates this. There are other bodies or factors Besides Asc, MC, and the ten planets, but like subordinates, they play secondary or minor roles.

After scouring many celeb charts I began to notice certain anomalies not explained by the regular planets. Some of these seemed to be explained by the minor planets and factors such as Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, Juno, Chiron, North Node, Lilith, Part of Fortune, etc. Others found no correlating bodies. The MC or Midheaven at times appeared to have a dramatic effect on appearance as of course did the Rising sign. One particularly interesting observation was the effect Vesta had on dress and clothing as well as who would provide the clothing for you. I noticed that my Sun in Cancer friend would often shower me with shoes or pants or coats and clothing in general, or that I would do the same to another Cancer individual. None of the regular astrology explained this until I realized my Vesta was in Cancer!

The word vesta(vestis) is Latin for dress.

Many astrologers and astronomers alike are pointing to the discovery of Persephone by 2027/28 as the next major planet beyond Pluto. This is not to be confused with asteroid Persephone399 in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. The real Persephone is much larger with an orbital period of at least 600 years. The problem is that there are many postulated bodies in this orbit range from Eris(557 years), to Morya(625 years), to Transpluto(676 years). Most are vying for the true rulership of Libra. Then there is Lynne Koiner's Transpluto which is the same as Sevin's but has a period of 1200 years rather than 600+ and is linked to Virgo. There are many differing or conflicting theories but it does appear that some large body is definitely there in the 600+ year orbital range.

I find that the animal urges of hunger and sex are strongest when the Moon transits a masculine(fire or air) sign, especially fire. When the Moon transits earth or water signs the lusts and passions subside somewhat. I noticed that fasting is easier when the Moon is transiting a feminine sign, which occurs every two and a half days. The Moon is our true daily clock. Were it not for our Moon we would probably not have a daily life. In the ancient and forgotten past, when we had two Moons, daily life was even more active.

I was watching the 1961 classic The Misfits one night and took note of all the main characters and their charts and it was fun to watch them all interact with each other -this is a great way to learn astrology by the way. Clark Gable (Sun in Aquarius/Capricorn Rising) and Marilyn Monroe(Sun in Gemini/Leo Rising) stood out of course but and Clift Montgomery (Sun in Libra/Virgo Rising)) and Eli Wallach(Sun and Moon in Sagittarius) had their moments too. Gable's Capricorn Rising with Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Chiron there was especially noticeable, much more so than his Aquarian Sun and Mercury. Capricorn can be cruel and insensitive and his brusque manner and the way he fought and treated the horses was disturbing. His fondness for Marilyn was supported by the Sun/Ascendant opposition and the Moon-Jupiter/Sun conjunctions between the two. Sadly, both Gable and Marilyn died shortly after the completion of the movie.

Ben Gvir (May 6, 1976) Israel's national Security Minister has the same Sun/Moon combination as the State of Israel (May 14, 1948). This is NOT a good Sun/Moon combination. Both planets are badly placed by sign and squaring each other giving the owners a very base and often violent nature. Israel is always at war and always wants more land and will stop at nothing to acheive its Greater Israel project. Gvir has been known for his extreme tirades and obsessive behaviour. Only three planets out of ten are well-placed by sign or element in his chart. The state of Israel has five out of ten good placements and Benjamin Netanyahu (Oct 21, 1949) has four good placements out of ten. Recently deceased Lindsey Graham has five out of ten good placements. As evil as these three leaders appear to be it must be remembered that they are in all likelihood paid actors. This includes Trump as well whom many believe is not the real one or he's acting the part. Trump has six good planets out of ten, eight out of twelve if you include the Ascendant and Midheaven. The whole Middle East and World situation is ridiculous. It's as though it's all being done on purpose to show us the utter corruption and futility of being governed. I can't wait till this mess is over and we are told the truth about what's really going on.

How quickly we forget. Remember 3I Atlas? It's still in our solar system. On July 10th, 2026 it reached Saturn's orbit and still has a long way before exiting our solar system. It's still doing its work whatever that may be. Less than two years later on April 27, 2027 it will cross the orbit of Uranus, and on March 20th, 2028 it will cross the orbit of Neptune. In mid July of 2026 3I Atlas is in mid tropical Cancer and will stay in that sign for hundreds if not thousands of years to come. 3I Atlas' move from Capricorn to Cancer in late 2025/26 may signify our return to matriarchy or right brain (intuitive) thinking and will reactivate memories of our long-forgotten past.
