Swan C/2025 R2 Ephemeris 1600-2500 AD
Important Note: Due to more information, Swan R2's orbital period has been downgraded to 619 years (from 22,534!).
This will change the previous positions by a few degrees for dates between 1900 and 2025 AD.
Not to be confused with SWAN C/2025 F2, Swan C/2025 R2 was discovered on 11 September 2025 by Vladmir Bezugley
using SOHO. It is is inclined at 4.47 degrees to the ecliptic. with a .993 eccentricity. It's closest approach to the Sun occurred on September
12th 2025, one day after its discovery. Spends nearly all of its time in Cancer, except for the 22 years near perihelion where it visits the other
11 signs. Most of us alive have C/2025 R2 in mid to late tropical Cancer. Children born between 2013 and 2025 may have it in Leo.
