Here is an alphabetical list of over 26,500 named minor bodies according to the IAU Minor Planet Center. The list is dated for 8 September. 2026.
I have excluded the accented column. The actual list can be found here... https://minorplanetcenter.net/iau/lists/MPNames.html.
The list includes dwarfs, asteroids, near-Earth objects, etc. If you wish to know the astrological position of any of these objects fill in the number
or name (the number is easier) in a program or site that can calculate it such as Astro.com, Swiss Ephemeris, Astro Seek, truenode.com, or
or the Minor Planet Center Ephemeris (JPL Horizons System) itself.
The list keeps growing daily, so the newest minor bodies may not be included here. The good thing about named bodies is that they're easier
to remember than unnamed bodies. Also, a named body has more power or influence astrologically than an unnamed one. This narrows the field down
considerably from over 800,000 total bodies being tracked to some 26,526. Of the 26,000+ the largest of these bodies, such as the dwarf planets,
are of course the most important, with Pluto heading the list.
The fun thing about minor bodies is that many of them have the names of everyday people, places, and things. This occurred because at some
point astronomers ran out of deities or famous people to name them after so they started using common names or the names of their discoverers.
Look up the names of the people closest to you and see if your natal chart positions describe them in any way. If the name is not exact choose the
closest one or wait for it to come out later.
