2010 Aug.19: Seedless Grapes Are NOT Natural:
Used to be when most grapes had seeds in them -well not anymore. Seedless grapes are the norm now and the ones with seeds can hardly be found. Thanks to man's
ever increasing interference our fruits are becoming dismal shadows of their former selves. The food companies are taking over the food supply and making sure
that we're fed "sweeter" and more tasty fruits and veggies by genetically modifying or cross-breeding them and eliminating those "nasty" seeds. Every time man attempts
to improve on nature the result is almost always a disaster. Not only are these hybrid and/or GMO(Genetically Modified Organisms) foods bad for you, but you will not be able
to regrow them since they have no seeds. The food companies want to control the food supply by eliminating their reproductive capacity and becoming the sole providors for their seeds.
They are forcing farmers to accept their "one time" seeds and producing an inferior product at the same time. Examples of GMO foods are soy, corn, cotton, canola, zucchini,
crookneck squash, Hawaiian papaya, and sugarbeets. GMO foods are changed at the DNA level and are therefore more dangerous than hybrid foods. Hybrid foods are changed through
cross-breeding, grafting, or environmental control. Examples of hybrid foods are seedless fruits, carrots, beans, potatoes, and most legumes. They lack most of the minerals of
their original counterparts and would not survive on their own. It's getting to the point where almost nothing is safe to eat anymore. No wonder there is an explosion of cancer,
diabetes, and other diseases and ailments -especially here in America. This madness has to stop. Stay away from hybrid and especially GMO foods, and let nature be. The PLU(sticker) code
for GM foods begins with an 8. Genesis 1:29 says "And God said, See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit
yields seed; to you it shall be for food."
2010 Aug.14: Uranus Dips Back Into Pisces:
for about the next seven months starting today(3:32 AM UT/GMT or 11:32 PM(Aug.13) EST) -to wrap up any unfinished business in the sign of Pisces. It will
then re-enter Aries on March 12, 2011 and stay there permanently for about seven years.
2010 Jul.21: Saturn Re-enters Libra Permanently Today: at 3:09 PM UT/GMT or 11:09 AM EDT, after retrograding back into Virgo for 3.5 months,
so that relationships and partnerships, both individual and collective once again come under scrutiny or review. If the relationship or partnrship is solid
it will survive, if not it will end(Saturn doesn't have time to waste). Laws and the court system will also be more vigilant. Saturn now enters into that
ominous and dynamic cardinal T-square with Pluto(in early Capricorn) and Jupiter-Uranus(in early Aries). This is it! This is when the sparks will fly
between individual and collective interests and associations. Expect radical changes in terms of individual initiative and sovereignity and the realignment
of social or governmental associations.
2010 Jun.6: Jupiter Enters Aries Jupiter enters Aries today at 5:28 AM UT/GMT joining Uranus(and Eris) and adding
momentum to the major changes we will all be going through in the next several years. Jupiter retrogrades back into Pisces on
September 9th and then back into Aries on January 22, 2011 till June 4th 2011. To know how Jupiter will impact you depends on
your dominant sign(usually Sun or Ascendant).
Aries: Jupiter will impact you very personally expanding your horizons and opportunities. You will feel more confident, energetic,
and lucky and should prosper in whatever you decide to do. You may do more traveling and learning and will likely put on more weight.
Taurus: Your twelfth house of secrets and the subconcious is highlighted. This is a good time to clear out any feelings of guilt or misunderstandings
and to start fresh in your life. It's also a good time to basically relax, retire, or just take it easy. All the action is in private or behind the scenes.
Gemini: Jupiter highlights your eleventh house friends, hopes, goals, and wishes. This is a time to get together with people and make your
wishes come true. Expect the unexpected.
Cancer: Jupiter activates your tenth house of career and reputation so that you may get that job or position you have been hoping for. Or
you may discover a new goal or purpose in life that will be more in tune with your true inner or spiritual self. The opportunities to make your mark in
society will come and come quickly so be ready.
Leo: Jupiter highlights your ninth house of travel and philosophy so that may actually take that trip you wanted to take or start that new study
or course that will open up a new understanding of yourself or your world. You feel good, benevolent, lucky, and optimistic.
Virgo: Jupiter affects your eighth house of hidden matters and other people's belongings. This is a good time to revise your investments or
credits; anyting owing you will come in now. It's also a good time to research or investigate, especially on matters such as sex, death, and the paranormal.
Libra: Jupiter going into your seventh house will expand the quantity and quality of your relationships now. Travel with a mate or partner is indicated,
as well as the possibility of joining up with someone who will bring more meaning or spirituality into your life.
Scorpio: The sixth house is highlighted so that there will be important gains or benefits where your work or health is concerned. This is a good time
to find a job, improve your diet, get into an exercise program, or buy new clothes.
Sagittarius: Jupiter is your ruler so its transits have extra importance. Aries is your fifth house so Jupiter here will boost your sex and love life
and the ability to be creative or have fun in general. Children are also indicated by this transit.
Capricorn: Jupiter affects your fourth house so that this is a good time to be home or with family. Take up cooking or caretaking and expand that room
or toilet or just look for a bigger house.
Aquarius: Your third house is highlighted so that you will be more open and forthright than usual. This is a good time for you to study, learn, speak, write,
or simply get your ideas across. Publish that book or article. Go out there and increase your people contacts. You will be wittier and funnier and people will listen
to you now.
Pisces: Jupiter opens up your second house of money and possessions so that this is a good time to earn, buy, sell, or invest. You will also be more generous
or indulgent with your resources.
2010 May 23: Uranus Moving into Aries ...Calling all Aquarians! Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, makes its first move into Aries on May 28th, 2010
at 2:44 AM British Summer Time(May 27th 9:44 PM Eastern Daylight Time or 6:44 PM Pacific Daylight Time) giving all solar Aquarians or persons with other
planets in this sign a two and one-half month foretaste of the new energy this planet will aquire during the next 7 years(2010-2017). After staying in
restful and reflective Pisces for about the last seven years(2003-2010), Uranus takes its initial plunge into fiery and energetic Aries in the early
morning hours(UT) of May 28, 2010 before retrograding back into Pisces in the early morning(4:36 AM BST) of Aug.14, 2010.
....What does this mean for Aquarians? Also, what does this mean for Aries people who will be visited by Uranus? And finally,
what does this transit mean for the world at large?
....Uranus rules novelty and excitement as well as freedom and truth. Anyone with a planet in Aquarius has a personal link to Uranus,
whether it's the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or even Pluto!
Most solar Aquarians who are into astrology will tell you that their lives are punctuated by distinct seven-year phases. This is because
Uranus, their ruler, takes seven years to transit each sign of the zodiac.
....When Uranus was in Pisces, Aquarians took on much of the nature and activities of this sign; becoming more sensitive and withdrawn,
taking up film, photography and the visual arts in general, or becoming nurses, caretakers, or even welfare recepients. Uranus also
stimulated Pisceans or people with planets in this sign to become more daring and independant or involved in humanitarian causes.
....When Uranus is in Aries, Aquarians will begin a new seven year phase of their lives vastly different than the former. While Pisces was quiet,
rest, and seclusion, Aries will be energy, activity, noise, and challenge. Aquarians in general will be much stronger and more confident during this
transit and will actually be in a fighting mood. They will demand their rights and be much more aggressive and vocal. They will acquire a new sense
of self and will take charge of their lives and destinies come what may. No more being trampled on or taken advantage of. If someone or something
does not serve their interests they will be dropped without hesitation. Selfishness and insensitivity will increase, but so will freedom and
independence. This is the time for Aquarians to break out and become who they really are or what they truly represent.
....Aries people/types will undergo a similar transformation as Uranus hits their Sun or whatever other planet is in that sign, making them much more freedom-loving,
independant, or rebellious. Uranus awakens or electrifies whatever sign or planet it is passing through/by and lends genius and innovation. Aries people will become very
inventive or outrageous during this transit. It will be quite an exciting time for them.
....For the world at large, Uranus in Aries will encourage activity and innovation and strengthen everyone's sense of self or individuality. People will stand up for
their rights and take more charge over their lives. Partnerships or marriages that threaten individual rights or sovereignity will fall apart during this
transit as will the unjust control or manipulation of governments or authorities over the masses who will become much more responsive. It may be a chaotic or
unruly time indeed but it will mostly be for the best as both Uranus and Aries are positive influences signalling new and better beginnings.
2010 May.10: Gulf Oil Rig Disaster The oil rig disaster in the Gulf of Mexico may be far worse than we're being told. Sources like The Christian Science Monitor say that as many as 25,000
barrels of oil a day (over the commonly reported 5000) may be spewing out of the ocean bed blowing sand and consuming the broken oil rig in the process. Once the rig is gone the amount of oil gushing out may
double. Even the dome designed to contain and divert the oil may not succeed in its purpose. In the meantime, the oil is reaching surface and threatening marine life, bird life, fresh water supply, and the
fishing industry. At the rate it's spreading it has all the makings of a worldwide catastrophe. The full extent of the damage has yet to be known. This is just another confirmation of man's greed and incompetence
and its disastrous influence on the planet.
2010 May.9: Icelandic Volcano a Sign of Things to Come? The Icelandic volcanic eruption which began on April 14, 2010, and its ensuing smoke and ash across Europe blocking and diverting air traffic, may be a
foretaste of even worse eruptions to come. Can you imagine all of the world's major volcanoes erupting all at once? This would darken the world's skies, pollute the air, and significantly lower or modify the climate worldwide.
The trigger for this can be an object from space coming close to the Earth or a nuclear explosion in a quake-sensitive region or belt. Many prophecies point to this scenario and it would do well for most to heed and be prepared in
case of such a likelihood.
2010 Mar.26-27: Internet Browser Wars Internet Explorer is no longer the overwhelming Windows choice for browsing on the internet. Mozilla Firefox, for example, has long been a favourite alternative,
and others such as Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari(mostly for Mac) are also gaining ground. Beyond that are lesser known browsers such as Maxthon, Flock, Avant Browser, Deepnet Explorer, and Phaseout. So what's wrong with Internet Explorer?
Aside from being the main target of hackers(it still dominates some 60% of the browser market), its latest versions(Explorer 7 and 8) are according to many taking an ever increasing nosedive in terms of performance,
reliability, and security, so most users are still hanging on to Explorer version 6(or 7). This XP user has tried Explorer 8 and was not happy with the results. It worked fine in the beginning but tended to crash
after a few uses. Also there was a problem with the font display on my website so I eventually uninstalled it. Explorer 9 is just coming out and will hopefully correct some of the problems, but I think I'll
stick to Firefox for now.
2010 Mar.6-7: Chef Ann Cooper Changing the Way American School Children Eat She's called the Renegade Lunch Lady and she's changing the way kids eat at school from highly processed or chemicalized
foods to highly natural and organic. She is the Director of Nutrition Services for the Berkely(Calfornia) Unified School District with a large staff supervising over 9600 chldren. Cooper stresses the importance
of locally grown and organic foods free of pesticides and antibiotics and runs classes and discussion forums on cooking, health, and nutrition. She targets big business and the USDA(United States Department of Agriculture)
which control over 90% of our food supply for the commodification or artificial processing practices which lead to poor health and nutrition. Most processed foods, she explains, are made to look and taste good but offer
no real nutrition. Most are in fact filled with chemicals and preservatives that lead to all kinds of impairment or sickness. She believes the National School Lunch Program under the USDA is underfunded and poorly
managed and would be better run by the CDC(Center for Disease Control). See her informative video here http://www.chefann.com/html/about-chef-ann/audio-video/TED-ChefAnn.html
2010 Jan.24-25: Haiti Disaster May Be Largely Man-Made The Haiti Disaster of January 2010 may very well be a largely man-made event, beginning with the foreign economic and political
oppression or control imposed upon this country throughout its unstable history. This interference is largely blamed for driving the country into abject poverty and wretchedness. The consecutive
freak hurricanes of 2008 and the huge magnitude 7 earthquake of Jan 12, 2010 and its numerous aftershocks may simply have delivered the final blows to an already fragile situation. Whether the bad weather
and the earthquake were natural or precipitated will become clear with time, but it would not surprise me if it were the latter. Given todays advanced level of technology, most of it undisclosed to
the public, and the ruthless nature of politics and business, the hurricanes and earthquake may have been helped along to speed up the agenda of its perpretators. At stake in this agenda are the
strategic and natural resource benefits of this prized territory in the Carribean.
2010 Jan.17-18: Jupiter Moves into Pisces
Big Jupiter leaves Aquarius and moves into Pisces at 2:11 AM GMT Jan.18(9:11 PM EST Jan.17). Jupiter has just finished flying through airy and electrical Aquarius and has now plunged into
the deep waters of Pisces where things become much more murky. Enough truth, reason, and logic -it's now time to emphasize the importance of feelings, emotions, and intuition in our path to
spiritual unfoldment. Music, meditation, dance, and the arts are excellent vehicules for achieving inner peace and fulfillment. Movies, film, photography, or anything visual
will also be big this year, as will all aquatic sports or events. Durng this transit Jupiter will teach us to be more understanding, compassionate, and forgiving. Negatively, it may encourage
drinking, smoking, drugs, and feelings of loss, confusion, illusion, or helplessness. This is a very "spacy" and impractical placement so that the emphasis on definition, materiality, or specifics
will suffer during this transit. People with planets in Pisces or water will benefit most from this transit. Conversely, those with many planets in Gemini, Sagittarius, or Virgo will be challenged.
2010 Jan.13-14: Security Scanners Pose Health Threats
The full-body security scanners being set up at airports all across America and elsewhere may be the latest threats to our health and DNA in a world already awash with radiation
coming from our highly technicized society. As if cell phones, computers, and TV's weren't enough -now we must submit to powerful scanners which bathe our entire being with possibly
dangerous amounts of T rays(tetrahertz rays which are a cross between microwaves and infrared rays). These rays can have a disruptive effect on our DNA strands and lead to skin or other
forms of cancer. Yes, the machines are effective and speed up the security process, but they may come at a very high cost to our health. Even flying at high altitudes has been proven to be a healh
risk. Apparently, the higher up you go the more our protective atmosphere thins out exposing us to greater amounts of lethal rays from the Sun and outer space. It's getting to the
point where it's just safer not traveling anymore.
2009 Dec.29-30: Thermography: the Future of Diagnostics
It is becoming increasingly evident that al forms of radiation-based diagnostic techniques such as x-rays and CT scans, are in the long term highly cancer-causing
or producing. CT scans are paticularly deadly exposing you to radiation some 1000 times more potent than normal chest x-rays. This is bad news for those who have undergone
conventional mammograms and the like. MRI's which do not use ionized radiation are less dangerous but the powerful magnetic field can have other consequences. All of these
techniques are invasive and alter or damage gene and chromozone structure eventually resulting in disease or even death. Thermography, a relatively new imaging technique, seems to be the answer.
It uses highly sensitive infrared cameras to measure your body's heat emission and produces corresponding color digital maps which can then be diagnosed for treatment. Any abnormal
patterns in light or color will indicate the problem area. Thermal imaging is very safe and simple and accurate and is the wave of the future in medical diagnostics.
2009 Dec.6: WISE Telescope Ready to Launch and Scan the Heavens
On December 14th of 2009, NASA's WISE(Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer) will be launched to orbit the Earth in polar fashion and take an all-sky
imaging survey much like Iras did back in 1983. This time, WISE will be much more sensitive and thorough than IRAS and there is enough coolant
for the telescope to last about year even though the survey itself will take six to seven months to complete. Specifically targeted will be cooler
less visible objects such as asteroids, brown dwarfs, and distant or low-emitting galaxies. This has a lot of planet X hunters excited. WISE may just be the instrument
to finally put to rest the question as to whether there is a large body out there in our solar system often referred to as Planet X, Nibiru, The Twelfth Planet,
Nemesis, The Dark Star, Vulcan, Hercolobus, Wormwood, The Destroyer, the Sun's Twin or Binary, etc. IRAS may have discovered such an object back in 1983
but the finding may have been controlled or censored. Times have changed since then, with the Internet and growing public awareness of such issues, and
hopefully, this time around, NASA will be more open or forthcoming about its findings with WISE.
2009 Nov.23-24: Is Your Computer Poisoning You?:
It seems everything man makes or invents these days(and in days past) has serious side effects. As much as we try to improve on nature we always
keep falling short. The technological gadgets we've all come to love and depend on such as hand-held units and computers are the latest on the
danger list. All such gadgets give off electronic as well as chemical pollution which when exposed to for long periods are potentially cancer-causing.
Most electronics contain BFR's(brominated flame retardants), PCB's(polyvinyl chlorinated byphenyl), arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead, selenium, berylium,
barium, and who knows what else. Even the plastic when heated releases harmful dioxins. You absorb these chemicals in many ways, mostly through inhalation
or touch, but also through the water and soil contaminated by these waste products. If you use your computer a lot make sure your area is well-ventillated or aereated,
(open those windows!), and if you smell something funny it could be those flame-retardants gassing off and making you sick. Also, its a good idea to keep these products away from
your sleeping quarters. Finally, go out and take a walk and clear out your lungs. Despite bans on certain chemicals(like PCB's), computers and TV's(especially
flat screens), and most other electronic products continue to be made with highly toxic chemicals, many of which we are not even aware of, and it would be wise
for the consumer to be on the look out for any health risks involved.
2009 Nov.16-17: BING -Google's New Competitor:
Tired of Google? Try Bing -it's Microsoft's new search engine and alternative to Google. Fully released in early June of 2009(a Gemini search engine)
it's still in it's infancy and currently accounts for only about 10 percent of the search engine market, rivaling Yahoo. I've only just discovered
it after doing a search for Google's new and overly simplistic browser which later fades back to normal, and have only tried some of Bing's unique features
-such as the picture and video searches(which I find new and refreshing). The size option exists on the left side. Also, my queries in general turn
up more direct results and give me the option to expand on them. Of course Google has more search results and more bells and whistles but I feel a greater ease and security
with Bing. So try it(bing.com) out while it's still fresh and relatively uncorrupted.
2009 Nov.10-11: Microsoft at a Crossroads:
If you're like the majority of home computer owners who are still using Windows XP service pack 2, and you want to upgrade, you must be
wondering where to go to next? Window's Vista was a flop and now comes Windows 7 which was released on July 22 of 2009. Any better? While it's
a little too soon to really tell early reports indicate it is definitely better than its predecessor. Most XP users will likely skip troubled Vista
altogether and go right to Windows 7. Others will try a completely new operating system like Apple's Mac or Linux. Macs and Linux are more limited in terms of software,
but are better in terms of graphics, multimedia, or system stability. Microsoft's Windows, on the other hand, which dominates some 90% of the market,
is more flexible, but suffers from consistent virus or malware vulnerability. This is because computer security is big business and Microsoft accomodates this. Personally, I've
gone through one too many system crashes based on this security compromise. If Microsoft and Windows plans to stay on top of the game it must seriously
address and work out this issue, otherwise there will soon be mass migrations to other operating systems
2009 Nov.4: Bananas for Breakfast:
In late 2008 a new diet craze designed to lose weight swept Japan by storm. It was triggered by pharmacists Hitoshi Watanabe and wife Sumiko
who released the information on various media networks and publications in November of that year. The diet was extremely simple yet effective: eat only
some bananas for breakfast along with some lukewarm water and then eat regular for lunch and dinner. Also reduce sugar and dairy intake
and don't eat anything after 8PM. Sumiko designed the diet for her husband Hitoshi who was overweight and lost 27 pounds on the diet. Before you know
it, bananas went flying off the supermarket shelves ands a new craze was born. The diet seems to work and is still going strong, and besides being healthy
it's very easy and quick to prepare so that you're off to work in no time. The funny thing is that I was on this diet myself before I even heard about it.
Four medium-sized bananas in the morning seems to do it for me.

2009 Nov.1-3: The Swine Flu Scare:
Many have asked me what I think of the recent swine flu vaccination program. Long time readers
know perfectly well what my position is -I am totally against any and all vaccinations. They compromise your
immune system and can even be fatal. The idea of injecting foreign poisons into your body in order to kick up
your immune system is both foolish and dangerous. It doesn' always work -especially if your immune system is already
weak or compromised. Giving this flu vaccine to young chilren or pregnant women is abominable and unforgivable.
The current swine flu vaccination program is a repeat of the 1976 fiasco which was poorly organized and left
many people dead or damaged. Science and government have failed us and continue to do so. For normal and healthy people
H1N1 is a relatively mild and harmless virus. The flu shot itself, however, is much more virulent and dangerous and is the real
crippler. The H1N1 vaccination campaign is nothing short of a scam and the people behind it stand to make bilions in profit. Perhaps
the real purpose of most vaccines is for scientific testing and use in biological warfare and/or as a means of population
reduction.
When will people learn that the best prevention for any disease is a clean and healthy environment, a natural diet, and an ethical
lifestyle. Your body's natural immune system is your best and only real defense against any kind of disease -so keep it healthy.
2009 Nov.1: Saturn Moves Into Libra
On Oct 30th at 1:09 PM EST big old Saturn left earthy Virgo and moved into airy Libra. Saturn's been testing all of the
Earth signs for over the past two years, especially solar Virgo's. Some have come out better for it while others have suffered
the consequences of their own folly. With Saturn there are no short cuts -you get what you deserve. Saturn in Virgo has also
made us more aware of diet and health issues and the importance of a clean, orderly, and healthy environment. More people are
better educated now on what it takes to stay healthy and productive.
The great Teacher and Disciplinarian is now focused on the Air signs, especially Libra. Saturn is said to be exalted in Libra meaning it is
an especially strong or favorable position there. True or not, Saturn here will put its heavy hand on the way we relate to one another and
social issues in general. It will separate the wheat from the chaff so that any weak or negative relationships or partnerships will fall apart
or be discarded, whether it's friendship, marriage, business, or other. The courts and justice systems will also be more vigilant. Our senses
of beauty, harmony, and balance will also become more refined or discriminating -so keep everything nice looking!
