Subject: fruitarianism
Hello,
I love your site so much. I'm trying so hard to clean myself up--physically,
spiritually and emotionally. I've read up on frutarians and decided that this is a
fine road for me. But it's going to be diffcult. I live in a large metropolitan
city where everything I eat is from the supermarket. I don't know how to grow
things.
Will you suggest a link or two to get me started on a proper frutarian diet? Like,
do you know of a good organic farm from which I could purchase pure foods?
Thanks so much for the site.
Much Peace,
"S"
Dear "S",
Becoming a fruitarian is a noble goal, but one fraught with dangers, especially in a city environment.
Fruits, especially organic, are great cleansers and healers, but if the air you're breathing isn't healthy,
you're kind of defeating the purpose. Remember that air, or rather the light or life contained therein, is
what builds your blood, which in turn builds bone and tissue. You don't want to rebuild yourself on polluted
air, do you?. When we are in the womb, our embryos receive only the finest materials for its development as
they are filtered through the mother's body and organs, and we should take the same care when rebuildng
ourselves.
I live in a rural area, not far from the city, but even here the challenges are great. I once went for
thirty days only on fruit, and the results were mixed, perhaps because it was not always organic. I lost a
lot of weight, but otherwise felt fine. In fact, I had more energy and didn't have to sleep so much. At the
end of thirty days I even started to feel a great heat in my palms and elsewhere which I could conciously
direct. Circumstances, however, (social and environmental pressures)forced me to end this diet and return
to my normal vegetarian diet which I have been following for the past 18 years.
I have learned that eating TOO much fruit is not necessarily a good thing and that one type of fruit at
a time is better than mixed. The banana is an ideal transition food, as it was originally a vegetable which
was gradually cultivated into a fruit. Oranges are the king of fruit and contain everything you need to stay
healthy. Grapes are the queen of fruits. When I'm fasting and feel weak or have a strong urge to eat, some grapes
(which is mostly diluted water) will do the trick. The less the better so it will not upset or interfere with your
fast. Not everyone's physically or psychologically ready to become a fruitarian or breatharian, but if you
feel ready then you should give it a try, as you will always learn something and get closer to your goal.
It's also best to become a fruitaian in a warm climate or in the spring or summer when there is more
light, heat and energy. Our bodies naturally crave fruit more in warm and natural environments. I don't know
where you live, but it sounds like you should move to a better enviroment if you want to become a full-time
fruitarian. If you can't move, do it part time and in a controlled(indoors) environment, or when you have a
chance, go the country or a vacation resort and do it there.
I don't know of any farms I can recommend, but there are always distributors of organic products in your
area. Just look them up in your directory under health foods or organic produce. There are a few links in my
link section that deal with health and eating naturally that may help, especially www.fruitnut.net
As you know, our planet is still controlled by negative forces, and untill they are removed, it will always
be a difficult endeavor for those who wish to purify or regenerate themselves. Slowly but surely, however,
these negative forces are being rooted out, and I look forward to the day when I no longer have to put with
all the crap we're taking, and have taken, for such a long time. The environment and everything else will
then no longer be controlled or corrupted, and fruitarianism and breatharianism will become the rule rather
than the exception.
I wish you well on your regenerative journey,
