Hercolubus or Red Planet by V.M.Rabolu is a sincere attempt by the author to warn humanity about the inpending and inevitable rendez-vous of our Earth and solar system with a gargantuan red dwarf Sun or planet five to six times the size of Jupiter. It shows up at the end of every root race or Kali Yuga period where wickedness abounds and divine judgement is enacted, the last time being during the Atlantean Flood. The small book(about 50 pages) took me about an hour to read. Most of the information on the Hercolubus planet was in the first chapter, briefly describing its size, color, and nature, and that it is inhabited by a powerful peoples with very advanced technology. Rabolu has a decidedly negative view of our scientists and world leaders whom he describes as braying lyiing and deceitful donkeys who are misguiding humanity and ruining the planet. He says they know full well about Hercolubus but are helpless to do anything about its coming or the devastation it will bring. Hercolubus, is of course the famed Nibiru, or Wormwood, or many of the other names given to this mysterious twelfth planet in our solar system beyond Pluto or even Eris. A more technical description of Hercolubus is given on the Gnosis website, entitled "Hercolubus and the Seven Races". Here it describes Hercolubus as part of the Tyler solar system which revolves around a common barycenter with our own Sol system and which comes closest to us during the Pisces/Aquarius age transition. This is when Hercolubus and its moons swing nearest to Earth. Hercolubus' visit to Earth coincides with the end of each of its root races, from Polaria to Hyperborea to Lemuria, to Atlantis, and to our current Arian root race. Each root race lasts a minimum of one sidereal or Great Year(25,680yrs), and each Great Year is divided into four seasons(Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Iron) and twelve astrological ages of about 2164 years each. We have currently left the Iron Age or Kali Yuga as well as the Aryan root race and are beginning the Golden, Aquarian, or Meruvian(sixth root race) periods. February 4-5th, 1962 marked the official end of the Piscean age and the beginning of the Aquarian age. According to Gnosis our solar system is currently being changed by the proximity of Hercolubus and the Tyler system. Pluto and the other planets are showing distinct changes in their color and behaviour. The axial tilts and climactic conditions are especially being affected. Earth itself is showing erratic polar warming and magnetic movement. Eventually Earth's axis will go out of control and that is when the great catastrophes occur on the planet. The second chapter of the book deals with the nuclear testing done by our scientists and military and the devastating effects it is having on our planet. Most of the tests are now under the ocean and are producing great cracks or fissures. This allows the water to contact the underground fire or lava beds resulting in horrendous tidle waves, cyclones, hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanoes, which our scientists are explaining away as the El Nino effect. The radiation from such tests is also changing the DNA of all life forms exposed to it and creating biological monstrosities. Rabolu says the scientists don't care about the damage they're causing as was also the case in the final days of ancient Atlantis and other more ancient civilizations. Chapter three deals with Extraterrestials, whom Rabolu says are very real and much more civilized and humane than we are. He describes his unique encounters with the inhabitants of Venus and Mars(via astral projection). The Venusians have perfect bodies and societies and environments where everything is free and powered by the Sun, and where people work only two hours a day. No money, politics, marriage, or religion either, and sex is a sacred act. Life on Mars is pretty much the same as on Venus except that Martians are physically stronger and more prepared for war or defense.They operate their machines and ships which do most of the labor on the planet and there are no plagues, insects, or reptiles there. Death(and birth) are volontary and cremation is common. He then discusses some of the mechanics of the interplanetary ships here and how some will be used in rescue missions to Earth once the catastrophes start. Chapter four talks about death in a philosopphoical manner and how the negative Ego in all of us must be changed or cleansed. Chapter five is about astral projection into the fifth dimension and how to do it conciously via the use of certain mantras. The book comes to an end with some concluding remarks essentially pleading with us to begin the great work of personal and planetary regeneration. In summary, I find the book to be brief and interesting, but very short on the specifics of the Hercolubus planet itself, especially after the first chapter. I wish Rabolu could describe the planet and its peoples in more details, as well as be more specific about the planet's orbit, period, and history. I guess that is not his perrogative to do so.
