The Great Ages in astrology are an Earth phenomenon based on the Earth's precessional wobble -which is in turn a Solar or Sun-directed event. Information is downloaded from our main Sun to our planet's inner sun and effected through the vast fields surrounding our planet. These fields in turn, affect the fields of all life forms on the planet. Everything is fields affecting fields, and the stars, planets, and life forms serve as the anchor points. Astrology is the key to understanding the Great Ages and other vast time cycles affecting our Earth and cosmos. It is an intelligently designed empirical system of division and correlation based on the number 12 -which is the universal number. Here on Earth, the 24-hour(23hrs56min to be precise) day is our basic time cycle based on the Earth's rotation around its central inner sun axis. This inner Sun receives its power, information, and directives from the main Sun and regulates all Earth activity via its magnetic belts which surround and maitain our planet. Through its meridians it controls the climate, rotation, axial inclination, and information updates for the planet. It is like a giant crystal computer performing a myriad of functions. The Earth has its own field which interacts with the inner sun field(hence two magnetic poles) and also sustains or regulates the planet. It has a magnetc meridian or ley-like structure which is its blood or life flow but which as been blocked or tampered with by parasitical alien presences. The unblocking or realignment of the planet's nervous system to that of the inner sun(and the main Sun) is necessary for its regeneration. Our next major time cycle is the year which is based on our planet's orbital relationship to the Sun. There are 365.25 days to the year, although this wasn't always the case. Interplanetary cataclysms or events have changed the length of the Earth's year at various times in history. There are records of the Earth having exactly 360 days before its orbit or rotation were displaced by disruptive solar system events such as invading bodies, collisions, floods, beams, and incredible technologies. Our year and zodiac begin where the Earth and Sun planes intersect(due to their tilts), and for most of our history the year began in March or September at the vernal(0°Aries), and autumnal(0°Libra) equinoxes untill it was changed by Caesar to January 1st. Modern astrologers today have chosen 0°Aries to start the Earth zodiac but I feel 0° Libra would be more correct or fitting with the planet's true nature. The Moon, of course, is another major timekeeper producing our true months which are 27.3 days long and which do not synch with our solar year, so an extra lunar month is added every so often in cultures with a lunar calendar(such as the Jews). The twelve months of Western society are an equal and artificial division of the solar year. Whereas the Sun/Earth relationship gives us our day, year, seasons, and zodiac, The Moon/Earth relationship gives us our true month, fertility cycle, and affects our tides and weather, and no doubt much more that we probably do not realize. While scientists say the Moon has been around practically forever, it may only actually be a recent addition to the solar system -possibly in the tens of thousands of years old. Some new age sources claim it wasn't around before 8,800 BC, and that it's appearance marked the Great Worldwide Flood and the Age of Cancer. The Moon's four major phases(new, waxing, full, and waning) is probably the basis for our other basic time cycle -the seven day week, which is also an artificial creation. The Moon's nodes(where the Earh and lunar planes intersect) precess backwards through the zodiac completing an orbit in 18.6 years, and give us our "mini-ages" as compared to the much longer solar ages. The Moon's barycenter or gravity center between it in the Earth is located one quarter the way into the Earth's diameter. For Hollow Earthers, this means that the barycenter is floating somewhere above the planet's interior concave surface. During it's early history or in times of collision when the Moon was pelted or perturbed by invading cosmic bodies, the Moon's orbit varied drastically, and there are ancient accounts where it came dangerously close to the Earth or that it orbited in periods varying from a few days to a few weeks or months. Our Moon is still a very little understood body whose true nature and origin has still not been deciphered. The other planets of the solar system from Mercury to Pluto and beyond all have their particular time cycles which are relevent to our lives but have not been officially integrated into society at this time, except by the astrologers. This is a shame, because there is much to learn from their cycles and influences, both spiritually or mystically and physically or scientifically. The rift between astronomy and astrology must be healed if we are to gain the full benefit of the cosmos. Even the distant stars each have their story to tell and share with us -if would only listen. Are we really in the Age of Aquarius, or on the cusp, or is this all a fabrication? Just as the Moon precesses through the zodiac, so does the Sun, but instead of 18.6 years, it's more like 24 to 26 thousand years. Every 72 years(currently) the Sun moves backwards one degree of arc against the constellations, and every 2100 years or so it precesses through one whole zodiac sign(roughly 30 degrees). The problem is we have no actual reference point for the start or measurement of this cycle except through the myths and constellations themselves. Even the length of the entire cycle is in dispute. The Great Ages cycle of approximately 26,000 years(or less), also known as the Great Year or Yuga cycle is divided into four basic periods known as the Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Iron ages with their ascending and descending cycles. The cycles are based on the Sun's orbit around it's parent star which the mystic Sri Yukteswar says takes 24,000 years. The solar system' closest approach to this star produces a Golden Age where humans attain divine qualities and the greatest distance sinks us into barbarism. For a diagram of this cycle see here. Other interpretations of this cycle come from the Mayans who calculated the Great Year to be exactly 25,625 years long and subdivided it into five World periods of 5125 years each. These periods do not necessarily correspond with the astrological ages but more with important astronomical events such as that of passing through comet fields or dense star or galactic planes producing cataclysmic transitions. The last 5125 year period began in 3113 BC and is slated to end in 2012 AD. What about astrology? Astrology divides the Great Year into twelve slices or signs of roughly 2150 years each, totalling some 25,800 years, and places us on the cusp of Pisces/Aquarius. Some say were now the end of the whole cycle while others say that may actually have happened over 2000 years ago as Aries went into Pisces. Others don't even think we are in the Age of Pisces at all but rather at the opposite end in Virgo, so there is a lot of uncertainty concerning the timing of it all. Until a parent star is discovered or clearer idea of celestial mechanics is reached, we will forever be in doubt. I present here my own ideas on the Great Year which may or may not be valid. First, I believe that our Sun orbiting nothing other than our galactic center is an insult to intelligence and the design of the cosmos. 225 million years around the galactic center is far too long for even the Sun to travel around without some other intermediary center. Precession itself tells us that there is some other body or center the Sun travels around in a period of roughly 26,000 years. We just haven't discovered or ascertained what this center is. New Age or occult sources say Alcyone in the Pleaides while more mainstream academics hint at Sirius in Orion. No one is absolutely certain as of this writing. Or if someone is they aren't telling. Another explanation is that the Ages are based on the Earth's axial wobble which makes a complete circuit every 26,000 years. This is projected onto the ecliptic where the solar and earth equatorial planes cross and these crossings move very slowly(currently 1° very 72 years) in a retrograde motion through the zodiac. The crossing points are called equinoxes or nodes and determine the seasons or zodiacal hemispheres. The vernal or spring equinox(south to north) is 0°Aries(for Earth) and the fall or autumnal equinox(north to south) is 0°Libra. The reference points for these nodal movements are the stars or constellations themselves. Astronomers have chosen the vernal equinox(0°Aries) for their starting point in the heavens, whose node in 2000 AD falls on the Pisces/Aquarius border in the tropical zodiac, hence the end of the Piscean Age and the beginning of the Aquarian Age. This position is arbitrary however as it is based on our knowledge of the constellations which were roughly in alignment with the tropical(true) zodiac some 2000 years ago. Proponents of the transition date from Pisces to Aquarius claim dates that vary as early as the late 1800's to as late as 2600 AD. This author accepts the Aquarian stellium of February 4-5, 1962 as the official transition date. On that date, all the traditional 7 planets in astrology from Sun to Saturn were in Aquarius, an alignment that does not repeat for thousands of years. So, are the Ages based on the projection of the Earth's celestial equator against the ecliptic and the slow backward movent of the node on this crossing, or is it the Sun's orbit around some greater parent star? The answer may be both. The old maxim "as above, so below" is very pertinent here. There is a hierarchy or pattern in the cosmos that repeats itself from the greatest cosmic body to the smallest particle of matter. Solar or light bodies are links in this hierarchy, so that the center of Creation is the center of our universe or galaxy, which is in turn the center of our solar or star system, which is also the center of our planet and our being. Solar centers transmit one to the other from the top down and vice versa. In our case, the parent Sun is transmitting to our solar system Sun which is in turn transmitting to our inner earth sun. Our inner earth sun, which is some 600 to 700 miles in diameter and suspended in the exact center of our hollow planet is receiving the solar codes and distributing them to all the planet and its life forms via the great electro-magnetic belt it produces(Van Allen) which surrounds the planet like a huge doughnut. Every planet has such a belt which acts as a data base or transmittor(cybernetic) and which holds or maintains the integral structure of our planet. The Sun feeds it, and it feeds the planet. The Earth has its own magnetic envelope(hence two magnetic poles) which includes meridians or ley lines or energetic pathways which are aligned with those of the inner sun. Unfortunately, many of these lines have been damaged or blocked by unfriendly visitors or off-worlders who wish to make Earth their home. Earth's body and nervous system must be cleared of these parasites and our own negative contributions before it can heal or regenerate. They(and we) are literally sucking the life blood out of Gaia. A prime example is the gas we mine for our vehicles and homes which is not only polluting but also destabilizing the temperature and climate throughout the planet. Most cities, churches, shrines, and important monuments(like the Great Pyramid of Gizeh) are built on the Earth's ley lines or grid system, and while some of these are used for good, most are draining the planet's energies and need to be removed. Twelve lines or bands of magnetic force circle the planet and produce the twelve zodiac signs. The Earth revolves within this fixed zodiacal grid which originates from the Sun and envelops every other planet or body in the solar system. In this way all the planets transmit to each other and to the Sun. The information transmitted regulates such things as weather, climate, rotation and axial tilt(which determine the Ages), general mood and outlook, war, peace, new knowledge and evolutionary breakthroughs, and almost every other requirement you can think of. Updates are downloaded electromagnetically on a regular basis, first through the inner sun computer(via the polar openings), which acts like a stepdown transformer -and then to the planet itself. The blueprint for the World Ages is downloaded from the hierarchy of Suns to our own inner sun which calibrates the planet(Earth) accordingly via its rotation and wobble or axial tilt. While it is difficult to pinpoint the historical timeline for these Ages, their individual durations can be precisely calculated based on an accurate knowledge of the length of one complete precessional cycle. There are three prevailing length periods; one is the 24,000 year cycle based on our 24 hour day, then there is 25,625 year cycle calculated by the ancient Mayans, and finally 25,920 year cycle as computed by modern astronomy. I will give the lengths of the Ages for all three of these cycles. Astrology is the key to determining the length of the World Ages since they are basically an Earthly phenomenon created by the planet's precessional tilt or wobble. The length of the Rising Signs at the Earth's equator provide the scale or framework for the millennial Ages when projected onto the celestial sphere with reference to the ecliptic. In other words, an Earth day is an Earth year is an Earth age. Below are the World Ascendants at the Earth's equator in time measurement and their corresponding Age length equivalents for the 24,000, 25,625, and 25,920 year time cycles. These tables are dependant on the stability of the planet's tilt or axis in reference to the ecliptic. Changes in the Earth's tilt or axis either in the distant past or future will invalidate these Age periods and result in new ones. It may be that we can only go so far in the past or future astrologically before we meet with such changes. That is why polar shifts or orbital displacements are so crucial -they can literally change or modify our timeline as well as our personal and physical natures. You will note that Aries/Libra and Pisces/Virgo give the shortest Ages, the fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius give median Ages, and Capricorn/Cancer and Sagittarius/Gemini give the longest Ages. Since the Maya give the most precise figures, this author reccomends the 25,625.83 year cycle, and while 2012AD may signal the end of a World Age, this does not necessarily imply the end of an astrological Age. For this I will use the Grand Aquarian Stellium or Conjunction of Feb.4-5, 1962 as the official beginning of the Aquarian Age, and work my way backwards or forwards from there. It would be nice to know when ALL the great Stelliums or Conjunctions of each sign occured, but this information is hard to come by. With the information on hand, a fairly accurate table of the Great Ages and their beginning and ending dates(depending of course on the length of the cycle and starting point) can be constructed as follows... As you can see there is a significant variance from one cycle to the next. Comparing the Pisces dates is especially interesting. Personally, I have a preference for one of the two longer cycles. Until we get a precise length for our precessional cycle we will keep on guessing as to where each age begins or ends. Even the 1962 date for Aquarius can be argued. Compounding all of this is whether we're starting with the right equinox to begin with. If we begin from the autumnal equinox(opposite point of the vernal) then we are actually coming out of the Virgo Age and entering Leo, but the Aquarius stellium is not in favour of this. In any case, there are always strong undertones of the opposite sign in any Age. There are no doubt greater or longer cycles than the Great Year or Ages, but their incredibly vast time spans are not likely to be very relevant to us. |
