Vulcan could be the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) object discovered in 1983, or it could be within 15 degrees in right ascension and 9 degrees in declination of this object. This and other data have been utilized to determine Vulcan's mass and orbit. Our research paper entitled "Earth's Bleak Future"2 estimates that Vulcan orbits the Sun in slightly less than 5,000 years in a very eccentric orbit that is highly inclined to the ecliptic plane. It is anticipated to be a Jovian-sized Protostar (called Vulcan by the Theosophists) 141 to 165 times Earth's mass, black or red in color and dense like Earth. Vulcan is very faint, about magnitude 21, comparable to the objects investigated by IRAS analysts.3 |

If Dr. Kuenhne's ephemeris is correct, Vulcan or the Dark Star is now in late tropical Sagittarius(24-25°) or only 1°
away from the galactic center(26° Sagittarius) and at 23.8° N declination. This is a star-rich area making it difficult to spot,
yet IRAS and other equally sensitive instruments have reputedly spotted it, thanks partly to its Jupiter-like size.
Vulcan has 4.7 % of the Sun's mass and precipitates comet strikes which hit our planet and solar system every few thousand years,
the last major one causing Noah's Flood, and the next one scheduled for as early as 2007. Nibiru may well be a comet swarm rather than a planet.
At its closest, Vulcan is some 133.6 AU from the Sun, the last time being in 546 BC. At its farthest, Vulcan is 453.7 AU from the Sun, which occurred
around 1970 AD. It has a highly elliptical and inclined(49°) orbit of just under 5000 years and can spend anywhere from 40 to 800 years in a sign, the
longer periods when it is farthest from the Sun. 5000 years is close to the Mayan World Ages of 5125 years each, five of which add up to the Great Year.
If Earth and Vulcan are the 11th and 12th astrological planets(as the Theosophists concurr) then the pantheon is complete. Earth and Vulcan, respective
rulers of Libra and Virgo(or Cancer), would then become the two most significant identifying influences in an individual's horoscope; the first describing our overall
persona and the latter describing the age we live in.
Most people born between 1900 and 2025 have Vulcan at 20 to 25° Sagittarius and are a spiritually or religiously dominated civilization. Vulcan's entry into
Sagittarius in the late 1300's marked the beginning of Colonialism and migration to the Americas, the new and modern Promised Lands -all in the name of God.
This expansionist quality will continue untill we discover the true nature of our planet and cosmos and finally have a true world government(Vulcan goes into
Capricorn in 2147 AD).
The actual nature or location of Vulcan or the Dark Star, however, has yet to be confirmed or made public, and untill then, the tables and imformation presented here
remain largely theoretical.
