(2010-2017AD) The Social(People's) Revolution Begins!
For the first time since its public discovery in 2005 the plamet Eris will be conjuncted by some big wheel major outer planets, namely Uranus and Jupiter, breaking or introducing this new planet into the fold of our collective reality and conciousness. Uranus will join Eris in Aries beginning in late May of 2010 and Jupiter will quickly follow some nine days later in early April. This wlll trigger an infusion of energy, hope, and excitement into the global atmosphere. It will herald or precipitate a mass awakening of conciousness and spirituality that will demand profound changes or improvements in the way we live and express ourselves. This awakening global conciousness has been going on for decades, especially since the advent and growth of the internet, but it will take the triggering influences of planets like Uranus and Eris to break open the dams and let the repressed waters of this conciousness spill over into our daily lives. Uranus(Aquarius) and Eris(Libra?) are the two "troublemakers" in astrology. Together, with a friendly boost from Jupiter(Sagittarius), they will accomplish the task of waking up the people into action(Aries) against the long-imposed control and corruption of its governing leaders. These leaders or governors are represented by Saturn on the one hand, which will be in opposing Libra from 2010 to 2012, and by Pluto on the other, which wll be in tenth house squaring Capricorn for the duration of the Uranus-Eris conjunction and beyond. Saturn will make sure(at least initially) that the revolutionary stirrings from the Aries trio will not get out of hand or cause excessive chaos, whereas Pluto in Capricorn will use secretive control measures or manipulations to severly limit the protests and uprisings caused by Jupiter, Uranus, and Eris. Uranus square Pluto(2010-2017) may bring back memories of the 1960's(when these two planets were conjunct), but the square may be more violent or disruptive. Jupiter will only be in Aries for three months in 2010(Jun.6 to Sep.8), and for over four months in 2011(Jan.22 to Jun.4). It will then move on into Taurus leaving only Uranus and Eris to continue the revolution which they are well capable of doing. Uranus is in Aries in from May 28 to Aug.13,2010 and then from Mar.12, 2011 to May 15, 2018. The conjunction of Uranus to Eris is strongest or closest in 2016. By then, the changes to our global society will have gone into full swing -for better or worse. Uranus brings change through newness, originality, surprise, and shock. At first this change is ridiculed or resisted. Later it is accepted and praised. Eris forces an issue untill it is resolved. And it will use any means, gentle or violent, to bring about a just and rightful conclusion. Aries is the sign of self or identity. It keeps you focused, centered, and empowered. Uranus in Aries is all about personal independance and self-discovery and Eris in Aries is social unity through action and initiative. Together, Uranus and Eris in Aries will instigate social change and freedom aimed at restoring power to the self or individual rather than the organization or collective.
