There is much speculation among astronomers and astrologers alike about some unknown object, influemce or force emanating
from the region of the sky known as late tropical Sagittarius.
Astronomers refer to this area of the sky as Sagittarius A or the center
of our Milky Way galaxy -around which our Sun and countless other stars revolve in a period of about 250 million years. Intense energy radiates from this center
thought to be a huge black hole the size of a large star but with the density or mass of millions of suns. The galactic center was at 25°28' of tropical Sagittarius
in 1900, 26°10 in 1950, and 26°57' in 2000 , currently moving forward at about 42'
per 50 years.
Astrologers are also taking note of the galactic center and its possible astrological
influence. Some see it as the Sun of our sun and speculate that its influence is second only to that of the Sun sign. As of 2008 it is at approximately 27° of tropical Sagittarius,
so that any planets within 3 or 4 degrees of this, especially in Sagittarius, will keenly feel its effects. Its influence is very vast, universal, and linked to the
Supercollective, which can introduce totally alien concepts or ideas to those receptive to it, and from likely unrelated time frames. Our galaxy is part of an even vaster conglomerate of galaxies
known as the Virgo Cluster with its centroid mass in the 1st degree of tropical Libra.
Then there is talk that our Sun has a binary partner beyond Pluto, also in late tropical Sagittarius, with a highly inclined orbit in the thousands of years.
Two of the main proponents of this are researcher Andy Lloyd , author of The Dark Star, and
Walter Cruttenden, author of Lost Star of Myth and Time and director of
the Binary Research Institute . Each has his own particular twist on the subject,
but both basically agree on the location of this binary and that it is very large and orbits in the thousands of years.
Then there is Barry Warmkessel's Saturn-sized Vulcan planet postulated to have an
extra-Plutonian period of just under 5000 years, and which is also currently located in late tropical Sagittarius, based on cometary orbits, IRAS obsevations, and
various metaphysical and historical criteria.
What all these sources have in common is that there is mounting evidence of some very influential object or source in the heavenly direction of late tropical Sagittarius
that is having a significant impact on life here on Earth, physically and in every other sense. Whether it is Vulcan, the Sun's binary, or the galactic center remains to be
seen, but this author also has noted the "Sagittarius effect" through the study of numerous charts, horoscopes, and historical events or epochs.
Historically, the Sagittarian influence can explain the great colonization efforts of the Europeans to the New World over the last 600 or 700 years. Sagittarius is the sign
of travel and exploration, and the broadening of one's mental or spiritual horizons, and this is still very much going on on a collective level. Excursions to the hollow earth and to other worlds or planets,
and humanity's reconnection with the galactic center and the greater Divine may yet be the greatest adventures or exploration attempts in store for us all. Both the center of our planet, solar system, and
galaxy represent primal points of origin and the concept of HOME. Collectively, we have strayed from our central homes or origins to the more distant and foreign peripheries.
In order to find our way back again we may have to reverse course and start turning INWARDS rather than outwards, and heed our emotions or intuitions more than our intellect or reasoning .
This Sagittarian influence may also explain the unconcious FEAR or AWE most of us on this planet have of anything that smacks of the divine or religious. We are afraid or feel helpless
to question or challenge religious doctrine or authority. It's as though some great and subtle power has made us all weak and subservient to this religious force we call God. Whether
this is due to the prevailing attitude of the Age of Pisces or the collective trauma of the Medieval Inquisitions and/or this unconfirmed cosmic center of Sagittarian influence I cannot
say for certain, but it is undoubtedly a NEGATIVE attitude and influence that we must overcome. Even in our dreams and visions we are subconciouslyly and oftn fearfully controlled or subdued
by our religious controllers. Better to question or confront these "authorities" and regain our spiritual freedom than to remain ignorant, fearful, and enslaved.
On a personal or individual level, this mysterious Sagittarian force or influence is especialy noticeable in natives with the Rising and/or Moon in this sign.
This is characterized by strong and sometimes fanatical ethical or spiritual beliefs. Physically, there is a tendency towards fullness and curvaciousness, especially among the females. Also there
is an overall motherly quality which may indicate a Cancerian link or rulership for this object or source. If so, this would put all of the planets ruling water signs(Neptune-Pisces, Pluto-Scorpio,
and X-Cancer) at the furthest outposts of the solar system, making them all powerful collective agents.
