and the Golden Ages
According to Alan Meece, author of Horoscope for the New Millennium, our planet, or at least some part of it, is on the verge of a new Golden Age,
instigated by the last Neptune-Pluto conjunction of 1892. These conjunctions occur every 493 or 494 years, where there is an initial 100-year period of
chaos and reform followed by a 400-year period of progress and enlightenment.
The conjunction of these two generational planets apparently produces a deep collective stirring or transformation in thr collective
psyche of humanity, initially bringing forth confusion and chaos and then great spiritual or scientific progress. It presumably takes
some one hundred years for the fruition of this conjunction, as this is the time required for those born with this conjunction to manifest
or implement its nature or essence.
In his "Propects for a Golden Age" Meece has looked back at all of these conjunctions throughout the last 2600 years and noted the
repeating pattern. These conjunctions occurred on the following dates...

Meece also points out that when the three outer planets are all in the higher or second half of the zodiac
during the commencement of a golden age, that age will be great indeed. In the 1990's and 2000's Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto
are all in the high signs indicating a truly high golden age to come. He points out that the Armageddon scenario laid out
by most religious teachings can be totally bypassed if we take advantage of the new positive energies coming in and begin
making important individual contributions to the flowering of the next great Renaissance.
Neptune and Pluto, both ruling water signs, are brothers/sisters, working together harmoniously to bring about positive transformation
via the collective psyche, especially when they are in conjunction. What about Eris, Sedna, or other as yet undiscovered planetary
bodies and their interaction with Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and each other. What great social or global movements are their vast cycles and
conjunctions responsible for? This is the vast study that awaits all astrologers.
