The most important locality aspect lines are shown as conjunctions and oppositions to the Asc and MC and are standard on any map, but this is only a fraction
of the birth chart. What about the trines and sextiles and squares and lesser aspects? These are important as well. A good astrolocality program will give you the option
to include such lines. Of particular interest to this work is the the fifth house trine line which is where most people will experience love, fun, and entertainment.
How do I find a 5th house line? Unless you're well versed in astrology and know how to read or understand a locality map -you'll be left guessing. There are twelve of them based on
your twelve astrological factors. You have a solar 5th house line, a lunar fith house line, etc. They are shown as as trines on the map but the problem is that there are TWO trine lines
for every planet or factor. One of them is a 5th house trine and the other is a 9th house trine. Astrologers lump the two together, and while each contains varying elements of the other,
they are NOT the same thing. It's like saying Leo(5th house) is the same as Sagittarius(9th house). Also, the Asc and MC 5th house lines are not indicated because they are not treated as planets.
So how do we differentiate a 5th from a 9th house trine on the map? Open up your map or program and check the lines marked by a triangle or pyramid which stands for the trine aspect. If your
program allows you, you should isolate the trines and/or sextiles(soft aspects) and remove all the other aspect lines, making it easier to see them. Also, it's advisable to concentrate on one
planet or factor at a time. Use your mouse to verify the lines as sometimes the trine can be misconstrued as a sextile and vice versa(every program has its flaws or weaknesses).
If you've chosen the Sun, for example, and natally it's in Leo, look for a trine or sextile line on the map that's in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the 5th house for Leo and that will be your 5th
house Sun line. Examine the line and see which places it goes over. The line itself will show the areas where the solar 5th house energy is most intense but the sign as a whole will show the broader
area. Do this with every other planet, including the Asc and MC. If you are well-traveled, one planet in particular may click or stand out in terms of 5th house activity. That is your key 5th house
astrolocality planet. In my case, it turned out to be Uranus which fell over the majority of my key "fun" places on the globe -places I've actually visited, or would have liked to have visited.
Sometimes natives under your 5th house lines will visit YOU -no matter where you may be located! If your a Hawaiian, for example, and one of your 5th house lines goes through England, you will basically
enjoy Englanders no matter where either of you may be located. This shows that your lines can also put you in synch(or out of synch) with certain races or groups as well as locations! Sun, Moon, Venus,
and Jupiter lines are generally favorable for this, although the other planets can also be key depending on the individual chart. Saturn is probably the least favourable of the 5th house influences.
Where two 5th house lines cross(one Asc and the other MC) are where the 5th house energies may be especially potent.
Your OVERALL or Ascendant fifth house is the 5th sign from your rising sign. If you're a Taurus rising, for example, Virgo will be your Ascendant 5th house. See where Virgo rising Ascendant falls on your map
-that's the general area. Then use your rising degree to be more precise or specific. Do the same with the MC. Also, look at the house or sign where your Sun or Leo are located -these are other 5th house locations.
I haven't really tried or experienced these last suggestions, but there is no doubt something to them
