| The outstanding thing about Mike Brown's chart is the mutable emphasis in Gemini-Virgo. No less than eight planets in those two signs alone, making Mike an extremely Mercurial type: intellectual, communicative, analytical, and critical. This man was born to use his mental or perceptive faculties, and he is doing so in the field of astronomy. I would not be surprised if he somehow becomes unwittingly instrumental in unraveling the Gemini-Virgo rulership question in astrology -perhaps by discovering a key planet here. Solar Geminis are of course very proud of their mental prowess or capacity. They are intelligent, informed, and amusing or entertaining. Knowledge, communication, and diversity keep them happy. This is even more so for Mercury which is at home in Gemini. Mental activity is a must for them. Venus and Jupiter also take much pleasure in mental pursuits. Venus adds stamina and resourcefulness and Jupiter expands the mental horizons and incorporates ethical or moral considerations. Moon in Virgo is an excellent placement for an astronomer or anyone engaged in exact or tedious work. They are efficient and organized and well-mannered. Mars in Virgo does the job right and Uranus and Pluto describe the scope or character of his work which is scientific(Uranus) and astronomical(Pluto rules outer space). Saturn in Pisces balances all that analysis with sensitivity, imagination, and intuition. Yes, Mike does have a "mystical" or artistic side to him. At the very least, he has a keen visual or perceptive nature which makes him a formidable astronomer. This Saturn requires periodic rest and seclusion and is no stranger to disciplines such as yoga and meditation. They're also capable dancers, musicians, and artists in general. Neptune in Scorpio is the other water sign placement which gives Mike much sensitivity and emotional intensity and good research or investigative powers. They have a natural curiosity about the mysteries of life and death and the paranormal in general. | |
