| With an overwhelming number of planets in the water element, Kurt Cobain is one sensitive guy. Eight planets in water and two in earth -not counting Eris and the angles. The sign of Pisces dominates with Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn there. Piscean types are very unworldly or unmaterialistic. They'd rather go with the flow or let nature take its course than fight one's way through life or buck the tide. The Moon is at home in Cancer with Jupiter so that Kurt had a very happy or successful home life at least in the early stages before his parents divorced. Jupiter here puts a lot of faith in the family institution so it came as quite a shock and devastation when Kurt's parents broke up. Despite the ensuing emotional downhill Kurt found solace and purpose in his music and achieved public success or recognition in his field which is expected with all Jupiter Moon links. Mars in Scorpio is of course the sex and death placement of the zodiac and gave Kurt tremendous emotional depth, intensity, and challenge. These people have extreme emotions and elicit strong reactions from others(you either love them or hate them). Mars with Neptune tends to get into shady, deceptive, or escapist activities.
