| Hira Ratan Manek is one rare individual, able to subsist on nothing but sun and water. His chart is almost entirely Earth and Fire with only one planet in water(Pluto) and no known air planets. Earth and Fire in astrology are the two primary or most basic elements which when combined produce the secondary elements of Water and Air. As an Earth-Fire type, Hira represents life at its simplest and rawest state, which is self-existing or self-generating. Hunger is mostly mental(Air) or emotional(Water) and Pluto in Cancer is the sole challenge here in Hira's chart. Sun-Mercury-Neptune, Jupiter, and Uranus form a grand Earth trine giving material completeness or self-sufficiency, and Moon-Mars, Venus, and Saturn form a grand Fire trine giving spiritual or energetic completeness and self-sufficiency. The Sun-Mercury-Neptune conjunction can describe Hira's ability to gaze mystically into the Sun and absorb food(Virgo) therefrom. Jupiter in Capricorn is excellent for fasting or living frugally, and Uranus in Taurus understands the science of matter and how to be detached from it.
